When I applied just enough (roughly 3 pointer fingers worth of sunscreen for me), there was no pilling. It didn’t leave a white cast, but it did pill in the middle of the day (while wearing my mask). Neutral reactions: Do not put too much or else it will pill! This was more of user error than the sunscreen itself, because I once squeezed too much out and put way too much on my face. What I don’t like: I’m not sure if they meet the SPF 50 claim (or even the PA protection) because there are conflicting reports on whether they do. I also like the scent of aloe so I think that’s why I’m personally biased to this product even despite the fragrance LOL. Put under neutral because sunscreen is that one step where I’m okay with fragrance in it. Really good on my melanated skin as well and leaves no white cast. Blends really well with my brown skin, I have no white cast whatsoever. It does not turn sticky or icky during the day as well (at least on my skin). I know some people like the watery texture, but this is too watery for me and sometimes the bottle will just ooze way too much so you’ll have to put it on other parts of your body. My face and neck once looked a shade lighter because of the white cast. If you put too much, you’re gonna have to keep blending or move it to your neck.
If you blend it well, it won’t be there, but you have to wait. Best for application for the body because it’s so light and doesn’t feel sticky at all. It has a lighter fragrance than the Watery Essence. What I like about it: Really lightweight formula, it’s the most watery sunscreen I’ve ever tried.
